Weather
Though September is autumn season, one of the most comfortable seasons in Japan, early September can be still hot like summer in many places of Japan. It is also rainy season. Average temperatures range from 21°C to 28°C.
Clothing: Short-sleeve shirts are enough in the daytime. As it is cooler in early morning and at night, it is better to wear light jackets or cardigans.
Electricity
The voltage used in Japan is uniformly 100 volts, A.C. The frequency of electric current is 50 Hertz in Tokyo. Japanese power outlets are 2-flat-pin plugs.
Currency Exchange

Tipping And Consumption Tax
Tipping is not necessary in any situations in Japan. However, major restaurants or hotels may automatically add a service charge to your bill. A consumption tax (10%) is also automatically added to purchases at shops, restaurants and hotels.
